Grenadier are delighted to share with you some photos from their latest development in St Leonard’s. The property known as ‘Willowdene’ was originally part of St Margaret’s School which opened in 1902 and closed in 2013. Now entering the historic buildings’ latest chapter, Willowdene has been returned to its original use and been transformed into a new energy efficient home.
The Grenadier team have worked hard to preserve and sensitively restore features reminiscent of the era, whilst challenging the myth that historic buildings can’t compete with the efficiency of new-build homes.
Willowdene has set a new benchmark for period homes and Grenadier have successful introduced an air-source heat pump to supply sustainable heating and hot water, solar panels to provide self-generated renewable energy, and an electric car charging point for the new homeowners.
